WHAT MUST WE FEEL?

Beyond the sky of our eastern shore that lays to waste

Majestic towers did downwardly plunge and crumble by hate,

With our morning gaze eclipsed by a terrorist shroud of cowardly rage

Came the rain of souls, mere innocent victims to seal our fate.

What must we feel?

When the world reaches out in vain attempt to soothe our fears

To comfort a land whose soaked by pain, in tears and more,

Our lady stands in her harbor view with torch in hand

The symbolic imagery of liberty lost within her land, of stately shore.

How must we feel?

It’s not too late for our land to re-claim what she has lost

For we must strive and inspire our leaders to search for peace,

With our prayers in heart, we act in love despite our cost

And tell the world that time draws near; all hate must cease.

What we must feel…
